InFED hosted a 5-Day training program for The Maharashtra Agribusiness Network (MAGNET) Project. It was a Training of Trainers (ToT) Post-Harvest Management of Orange and Sweet Orange. In the Inaugural session was addressed by Dr. Bhimaraya Metri – Director IIM Nagpur, Ravindra Thakre – IAS - Collector and District Magistrate, Ajay Kadu - District Deputy Registrar and Rajendra D Sable - Joint Director of Agriculture (JDA).

The participants went through an extensive training program which involved indoor and outdoor activities, a Case Study on Shramajivi FPC, Warud by Mr. Ramesh Jichkar.

The participants were also taken on an exposure trip to Navanat FPC, Kalmeshwar and Centre of Excellence (CEC) for Citrus in Bharatnagar, Nagpur. The CEC for Citrus there was a highlight on the Indo-Israel Technique of High Density plantation  and Techniques of Pruning to maintain the canopy using pruning machine. The FPC, Navanat visit emphasized on how to grow your business and deliver export quality oranges.
